New report on broadband telephone services helps consumers understand this new technology.

The ability of broadband telephone services to provide dirt cheap international rates, full features and unlimited calling plans at half the cost of landline phones has garnered a lot of interest. ProvideTechnology’s new report helps consumers understand this new technology. ProvideTechnology, LLC is helping both business and residential clients reduce the cost of their local and long distance costs via broadband phone services. Broadband telephone services, (also known as VoIP which stands for voice over internet protocol), have been getting a lot of interest since December of last year when SmartMoney.com, 20-20 and other national media outlets, featured three of today’s leading providers in stories and review.

VoIP Industry analysts agree that the technology is more then sufficiently developed to be used widely and that there are only two things preventing this technology from being in just about every home and office today. Those two trends are, one, the fact that 50% of Americans still do not have access to broadband connections (cable modem, DSL, etc) and two, the fact that the general public simply does not fully understand this technology and how they can benefit from it.While the first issue (lack of broadband availability) leaves the public at the mercy of DSL Providers, Cable Carriers and emerging technologies the second is a lot easier to address. ProvideTechnology recently published a report entitled "Getting the Most from Broadband Phone Services", available online at that explains the how, why and where of broadband phone services.

This is a great report for those who want to actually understand how VoIP Services work and how simple they are to install,
